I got slapped with a meme by my bud David Harry, so alas here are 7 things about the Snyd that have created the pimp you see before you that you might not know. 

1. I play a mean bass guitar. Before becoming Dave Snyder the SEO, I was Dave Snyder the bassist for a jam rock band called Echoesfall.  I am very much a jazz bassist at heart, but love all kinds of music.

2. I am a published poet. I have a degree in Creative Writing and my focus was poetry. I had a few poems published, and spent sometime after school chasing my “future” as a published author and teaching writing to kids. 

3. My second toe is longer than my big toe.

4. When I first met my wife I was very “anti-tattoo” now I am pretty heavily covered in body art. I hated the trend that began around body art, but upon doing a non-fiction piece on counter culture in college I really learned to appreciate tattoos.

5. I hate when people ask me about my tattoos or use them as a conversation starter. My pieces are pretty much personal to me, which is why i often wear long sleeves at conferences.

6. I got into SEO and social media largely by accident as I was looking for a content editor position and picked up SEO as a way to secure a content position. I used SEO on my first blog, BigDaveonSports.com to generate affiliate revenue, and ended up falling into a position as an Online Marketing Manager. I was a perfect fit for this biz, and it for me.

7. I am the meanest looking son-of-a-bitch you may ever meet, so a lot of people think I am a prick. I am also the sweetest person you will ever hope to know, and would pretty much do anything for anyone; to a fault.
